Do you guys remember that Fake Mew Promo card I made about a month ago?
Well apparently the Pojo, the largest Pokémon web site I've ever seen, had caught wind of my little fake card, and has been fooled by it (at least I think they were)! Someone, I don't know who, has sent them a copy of the card, claiming it to be a real Promo card.
As you see on your left, you can read the comments that the Pojo had written about the fake Mew card.
Based on what they wrote, I can tell that there was a hint of doubt that they actually thought it was real. I know that one of the people working there, Brian Brokaw, has been to my site, and knows that I make fake cards.
Brian even said to me that the Pojo visited my site to see if the Mew card they got was one of my cards, but they couldn't find the link. I couldn't blame them though, the original link was literally buried in the News section of my page.
The thing I question was, who sent them the card? I surely didn't, I never had any intention to do it in the first place.
Not be be gloating or anything, but it did feel good to see that someone had been fooled by my fake card. What felt even better was to see something of mine on a large web site like the Pojo's.
Well, if you want to see the page with the Mew card on it, better catch it quick before the remove the pict. It's right here.
