Pack Info: Price: ¥300 (about $2.80) Release Date: Feb 4, 2000 Pack Contents: 10 cards per pack; 1 Holo Rare, 1 Non-Holo Rare, 3 Uncommon, 5 Common Starter Deck: Price: ¥1580 (about $14.75) Release Date: Feb 4, 2000 Contents: • 30 Energy Cards (5 each of the 6 Energy Types)& • 30 Pokémon Cards^ • 30 Trainer Cards^ ^ I believe the Starter Deck has random cards in it. Out of the 30 Pokémon Cards, there are: • 2 Holo Rares • 2 Non-Holo Rares • 8 Uncommons • 18 Commons The same goes with the 30 Trainer cards. So in essence, there are 4 Holo Rares, 8 Non-Holo rares, 16 Unommons, and 36 Commons in the Starter Deck & 18 out of those 30 Energy cards (that's 3 each of the 6 energy types) will have instructions on how to use the Energy card and other rules. Also included in the Starter Deck are: • 20 Damage Counters • 2 Markers (?) • 1 Lugis Pokémon Coin (!) • and... a rule book. Other Info: The Starter Deck is about the same size as the American Preconstructed decks. My guess is that they're trying to keep some uniformaty between Japan and the US.
