Combos:
Super Energy Removal + Lt. Surge's Pikachu
(Well, Lt. Surge's Pikachu or any other Pokémon that let you get Energy from your Discard pile, like Lt. Surge's Electabuzz or MP Mewtwo.)
What you do is use SER, discarding an Energy card from that Pokémon. Then when you attack, you use the attack that let's you get your Energy back. Wow! Basically no energy loss!
