Gym 1 Info
The first Gym set of two wasn't
really much of an "expansion" like what Jungle, Fossil, and
Team Rocket was, but more like a "stand-alone" set.
So really... what is Gym 1?
Here are the facts:
Release Date: Gym 1
was released in Japan sometime in early 1999.
Other Goodies: The
Gym Sets deal with the 8 Gym Leaders in the
Pokémon Game Boy Game (you should know who they
are by now). Gym 1 is with the first 4 gym leaders,
Brock, Misty, Lt. Surge, and Erika... the "Good" Gym
Leaders.
Symbol: The symbol
for the Gym set is a Pokémon Gym type thing: What else do I have for you? I've
got:
Set Size: The
set was originally 94 cards big in Japan. (16 Rare
(Holo), 16 Rare (Non-Holo), 32 Uncommon, and 32
Common.), not including about 34 "Preconstructed
Deck" only cards (officially known as "fixed"
cards).
In English, Gym 1 was
combined with bits of Gym 2 to make a (techincally)
new set, Gym: Heroes. Click here
